Through a collaboration between CSA Group - an independent standards association - and the Western Regulators Forum — a group of federal, provincial and territorial energy regulators — Canadians can access several CSA Petroleum and Natural Gas standards at no fee through 2031.
The available standards include CSA Z662, the main standard for oil and gas pipeline systems, along with standards related to LNG, emergency preparedness, damage prevention, well integrity, underground storage, emissions management and more.
This access is made possible through financial contributions from participating regulators, including the BCER, and supports safety, environmental protection and consistency across Canada’s petroleum and natural gas sector.
