DATE ISSUED: May 19, 2026
EFFECTIVE DATE: June 1, 2026
Effective June 1, 2026, the BCER’s Core Facility will not be able to ship or receive core from the Fort St. John Reid Building, located at 6534 Airport Road.
This restriction is due to a warehouse expansion construction project. There is no projected date for when shipping and receiving of core will resume. During this time, industry clients with core samples are advised to email the Core Facility Supervisor at corelab@bc-er.ca for direction. Shipping and receiving of drill cuttings is not affected by this construction project and will continue as normal.
The BCER will provide notice when shipping and receiving of core resumes.
