The BC Energy Regulator’s (BCER) B.C. Production Dashboard provides interactive access to provincial oil and gas production data. This update enhances the dashboard and further supports the BCER’s commitment to making energy information more accessible and available, increasing transparency and helping industry and the public explore and understand B.C.’s oil and gas production information.
What’s New
The dashboard now includes expanded data and new visualizations, such as:
- Interactive tools to view and summarize production by operator, field or pool
- Condensate–gas ratio statistics
- Initial production rate statistics
- Statistics and maps of permitted wells
- Statistics on the number of new producing wells
- A map of wells drilled
- Barrel of Oil Equivalent (BOE) production trends
- Oil production by field
- Completed Well Length Trends
Enhanced Mapping
All maps, including both existing and new maps, now include:
- Dominion Land Survey (DLS) and National Topographic System (NTS) grids
- Major unconventional natural gas development areas (Schedule 2 areas)
